The second Katara Summer Camp will commence on July 21.

The Katara Summer Camp is set to take place from July 21 to August 7, 2024, providing an educational and recreational program for children aged 10 to 13 years old in Doha, Qatar. The camp will run on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays each week, with a diverse range of activities planned. Various entities in the country, including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Qatar Red Crescent, and more, will participate in providing a rich and integrated program for the children.

Parents can easily register their children for the camp by contacting Katara at 50047041 or emailing [email protected] The participants will be divided into three groups, with a new group starting each week. The program will consist of workshops, practical training, field trips, and visits related to awareness, heritage, and other aspects. The aim is to enhance community and national values, develop skills, and increase knowledge among the younger generation through engaging and educational activities.

The last summer camp organized by Katara received high praise from parents and participants, who greatly enjoyed the activities and workshops offered. By providing an opportunity for children to interact with various cultural and educational entities in Qatar, the camp aims to foster a sense of community and patriotism in the participants. The inclusion of workshops, training sessions, and field trips ensures that the children have a well-rounded and enriching experience during their time at the camp.

With the active participation of facilities and centers within the Katara Cultural Village, such as the Thuraya Planetarium and the Al Gannas Society, the camp offers a diverse and engaging program for the children. The involvement of organizations like the Al Jazeera Media Institute, the Shooting Club, and Sawt Al Khaleej Radio adds further value to the camp, providing the children with a unique learning experience. The emphasis on both educational and recreational activities ensures that the children have a fun and enriching summer camp experience.

The Katara Summer Camp is an opportunity for children to not only learn new skills and gain knowledge but also to connect with their cultural heritage and community.
