The Mayor Launches Riyadh Infrastructure Summit and Exhibition

The Saudi Infrastructure Summit and Exhibition was recently inaugurated in Riyadh by Prince Faisal bin Ayyaf, mayor of Riyadh Region and chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC). The event, attended by several ministers and officials from Saudi Arabia and abroad, aims to enhance collaboration and efforts to develop cities and achieve sustainable development by exchanging experiences with those who have successful practices. Prince Faisal emphasized the Kingdom’s dedication to serving cities and their residents through a comprehensive work system that aligns with the aspirations of the wise leadership.

According to Prince Faisal, developing and enhancing a city’s infrastructure directly contributes to its growth and advancement. He highlighted the importance of improving quality of life and enhancing services as key elements of the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030. The mayor also acknowledged the unprecedented support that the infrastructure sector receives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, stating that Riyadh is being transformed into one of the world’s most sustainable cities with determination and lofty ambitions.

RIPC Chief Executive Eng. Al-Baddah spoke at the summit, noting that the event contributes to shaping an ambitious vision for the future of infrastructure. He highlighted the wise leadership’s emphasis on developing infrastructure and advancing projects in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. The summit featured sessions, workshops, the presentation of success stories, and the signing of several agreements and partnerships with major local and international entities, showcasing the commitment to elevate project execution and enhance the urban landscape for sustainable infrastructure.

This international event organized by RIPC is part of the entity’s efforts to elevate project execution in partnership with key stakeholders, contribute to spending efficiency, and enhance the urban landscape for sustainable infrastructure. The summit serves as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices in infrastructure development, with a focus on achieving sustainable development goals and aligning with the ambitious vision set forth by the wise leadership. The collaboration and efforts of all stakeholders involved in the summit highlight the commitment to driving progress and development in Riyadh and beyond, towards creating sustainable and prosperous cities for the future.
