The Board of Directors of the Social Investment Centre affiliated to Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) recently held its annual plan for the year 2025 and proposed budget for enhancing sustainable social investment. Chaired by HH Sayyida Dr. Mona Fahad Al Said, the meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation and exchanging expertise with similar centres locally and internationally. It discussed draft financial and administrative regulations to ensure effective governance and emphasized the need to transform social investment programmes into sustainable investments capable of achieving long-term impact.

In order to localize knowledge and endorse best practices in the field of social investment, the meeting focused on organizing visits and implementing joint programs with other centers. It also emphasized the importance of establishing strategic partnerships with both the public and private sectors to achieve integration towards sustainable social development. By working closely with stakeholders, the Centre aims to create initiatives that have a lasting positive impact on society.
