Madayn is set to launch a tender for the Al Mudhaibi Industrial City Project, which is expected to be a game-changer in the industrial sector in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate. The city will feature components catering to various industries including mining, food, and tourism, with easily accessible raw materials. This project is in line with Madayn’s commitment to supporting economic development and promoting value-added industries across Oman.

The detailed plan for the industrial city has been finalized, with all necessary designs and studies approved. The first phase of implementation, which is expected to begin soon, will cover approximately 2.5 million square meters. The project will include essential services such as road networks, water and sewage systems, lighting, security infrastructure, surveillance devices, and ready-made industrial units within the Madayn complex. Additionally, the city will have administrative offices, manufacturing workshops, parking lots, and truck entrances.

The strategic location of the industrial city near key transportation routes, including the Special Economic Zone in Duqm, makes it an ideal investment opportunity. A dedicated area of 100,000 square meters will be allocated for logistics services to support businesses operating in the region. Moreover, there will be provisions for agricultural investment in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources to foster food security-related industries in the governorate.

In line with the global shift towards renewable energy and knowledge-based industries, the industrial city will focus on attracting investments in these sectors in partnership with educational institutions and private entities. Eng. Saeed bin Khalfan Al Shabibi, Acting Director General of Al Mudhaibi Industrial City, highlighted the incentives and exemptions available to investors, making it an attractive destination for businesses looking to establish operations in the region. He encouraged investors and business owners to submit investment applications during this stage to take advantage of the infrastructure and support provided by the project.

With its state-of-the-art facilities and strategic location, Al Mudhaibi Industrial City is poised to drive economic growth in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate. The city will offer a conducive environment for the private sector to carry out industrial, commercial, and service activities under one roof. By streamlining the investment process and offering attractive incentives, the project aims to stimulate economic activities in the region and facilitate the establishment of a thriving industrial hub. Investors and entrepreneurs are encouraged to seize this opportunity to be part of a transformative project that will shape the future of the industrial landscape in Oman.
