Tamkeen, the Labour Fund in Bahrain, has recently released four new skills reports focusing on key economic sectors in the country. These sectors include Healthcare, Transport and Logistics, Retail, Construction, and Real Estate. The aim of the reports is to provide valuable insights for current employees and job seekers about the evolving landscape of each sector. The reports also highlight the growth and career development pathways within these sectors, as well as identify job roles that are in demand by the labour market.

Each skills report offers a comprehensive analysis of the needs of the respective sector in Bahrain. This analysis is based on labour market data as well as inputs and insights from sector working groups. These working groups consist of representatives from the sectors, academic institutions, and training and development centres. The reports aim to provide a holistic view of the skills required in each sector, offering valuable information for individuals looking to enter or advance their careers in these industries.

Amer Marhoon, the Managing Director of the Skills Bahrain initiative, emphasized the importance of supporting Bahraini talent through the release of these skills reports. By offering comprehensive data and insights into the skills needed and emerging jobs within key economic sectors, such as healthcare and transport and logistics, Tamkeen aims to facilitate the development and advancement of the local workforce. The reports serve as a valuable resource for individuals seeking to enhance their skills and pursue opportunities in these high-demand sectors.

The skills reports are a testament to Tamkeen’s commitment to supporting Bahraini talent and fostering economic growth in key sectors. By providing in-depth analysis and insights into the evolving landscape of each sector, the reports aim to bridge the gap between the skills available in the market and the demands of employers. This, in turn, can help create more employment opportunities and drive the growth of these sectors, ultimately contributing to the overall economic development of Bahrain.

In addition to offering insights into the skills required in key economic sectors, the reports also highlight the career development pathways available to individuals in these industries. By identifying the job roles that are in demand by the labour market, the reports can help individuals make informed decisions about their career paths and skill development. This information can be invaluable for job seekers looking to enter these sectors or for current employees seeking to advance their careers.

Overall, the release of these skills reports by Tamkeen is a significant step towards supporting Bahraini talent and fostering economic growth in key sectors. By providing comprehensive data and insights into the skills needed and emerging jobs within sectors like healthcare, transport and logistics, retail, construction, and real estate, Tamkeen is empowering individuals to enhance their skills and pursue opportunities in high-demand sectors. The reports serve as a valuable resource for individuals looking to enter or advance their careers in these industries, ultimately contributing to the overall economic development of Bahrain.
