The Qatar Football Association (QFA) recently hosted a “Back to School” event at the Place Vendome Mall as part of its social responsibility initiative for the 2024-2025 football season. National team player Ahmed Al Rawi distributed gifts, including school bags, to students visiting the mall, and commemorative photographs were taken with them. Additionally, students from various schools received souvenirs and school bags in anticipation of the upcoming school year. This initiative was in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior’s Stadium Security Department through the “You Matter” initiative, which aims to raise awareness about stadium security in the community.

In addition to the gifts and souvenirs, QFA extended an invitation to students to attend the national team’s match against the Emirati team on September 5 at the Ahmed bin Ali World Cup Stadium. This match marks the beginning of Al Annabi’s journey in the third stage of the Asian qualifiers for the 26th FIFA World Cup. The Back to School celebration is an annual event that reflects the QFA’s commitment to engaging the local community and encouraging participation in football. By partnering with schools, the QFA aims to foster a generation that appreciates Qatari football and values community partnerships.

Events like the “Back to School” initiative are an integral part of the QFA’s efforts to connect football with all segments of society, particularly children. The federation recognizes the importance of engaging children in its activities and events, as they represent the future generation that will contribute to Qatar’s development in all sectors, including sports. By prioritizing social initiatives and community partnerships, the QFA demonstrates its commitment to promoting football and building a strong foundation for the country’s sporting success.

The QFA’s social responsibility initiatives are a key aspect of its mission to be a leader in sports development and community engagement. By hosting events like the “Back to School” celebration, the QFA reinforces its dedication to promoting football at all levels and creating opportunities for local youth to participate in the sport. These initiatives not only benefit the community but also contribute to the overall growth and success of Qatari football on a national and international level.

As the QFA continues to prioritize social responsibility and community engagement, it seeks to inspire the next generation of football enthusiasts and create a positive impact on society. By investing in initiatives like the “Back to School” event and partnering with schools and other organizations, the QFA is playing a crucial role in building a strong football culture in Qatar. Through these efforts, the QFA aims to foster a love for the sport, promote inclusivity, and develop future football stars who will represent Qatar on the global stage.
