QF and Seashore Group collaborate to empower people with diverse abilities

Qatar Foundation and Seashore Group have signed an agreement to expand the Ability Friendly Program, which provides inclusive sporting opportunities to individuals with different abilities. Through this partnership, existing seasonal camps and other initiatives will receive support, enhancing the reach and impact of the Qatar Foundation program. Mark David Hughes, Executive Director of Special Schools & SEN Services at QF, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in assisting individuals with disabilities and aligning with the shared goal of enhancing community programs.

The partnership aims to foster an inclusive society and enrich the offerings of the Ability Friendly Program with the support of Seashore Group. By enhancing existing camps and offering tailored enrichment opportunities, the program seeks to provide exceptional experiences for individuals with different abilities. This collaboration also strengthens the community network, raising awareness and promoting inclusivity among participants and coaches.

Seashore Group’s CEO, Salem Al Mohannadi, expressed the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that help individuals with special needs, particularly in sports and personal development. By partnering with Qatar Foundation, Seashore Group aims to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities and promote their integration into society. The company will provide logistical resources for various programs under the Ability Friendly Program umbrella, including summer and winter camps.

The partnership with Seashore Group underlines Qatar Foundation’s dedication to ensuring that every community member, regardless of ability, can thrive and succeed. By expanding the reach and impact of the Ability Friendly Program, the collaboration aims to empower individuals with disabilities, build confidence, develop skills, and enhance social interactions.
