The highly anticipated World Summit AI (WSAI) is making its debut in the MENA region, with World Summit AI Qatar set to take place at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center on December 10 and 11, 2024. Organized by InspiredMinds and supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the event aims to showcase Qatar as a global AI powerhouse guided by its National Vision 2030.

World Summit AI has become the largest and most influential gathering of AI experts worldwide since its inception in 2017. With the theme “Putting Humanity at the Heart of AI,” the summit will focus on Qatar’s National AI & Machine Learning Strategy, exploring topics such as human-AI convergence, AI innovation, and responsible AI governance. This event is seen as a crucial platform for shaping AI strategies and discussing the future potential of AI on a global scale.

The summit aims to drive the AI revolution forward with a vision of doing AI differently, inviting emerging startups and established leaders to connect with global AI visionaries, form transformative partnerships, and shape the future of AI in the region. With over 100 expert speakers, the event will feature discussions across 10 tracks and 4 stages, with a special focus on Intelligent Health (IH) and using AI to save lives. Attendees are expected to engage in thought-provoking discussions and witness technological breakthroughs guiding Qatar towards an equitable and responsible AI-driven future.

Sarah Porter, CEO and Founder of InspiredMinds and World Summit AI, emphasized the importance of collaboration in shaping the future world using AI. The event aims to bring together a diverse community to contribute positively to the future of AI, with inclusivity as a key aim. Qatar is positioning itself as a pivotal player in the international AI arena, with the exclusive launch of World Summit AI Qatar solidifying its place in the global tech landscape.

The Middle East is rapidly establishing itself as a dynamic force in AI, supported by bold investments and cutting-edge innovations that aim to transform industries, enhance quality of life, and remain at the forefront of global tech advancements. World Summit AI Qatar is set to highlight the critical role of AI in shaping the technological landscape of tomorrow. With a focus on responsible AI governance and human-AI convergence, the event will pave the way for a future where AI plays a central role in driving innovation and progress.
