Qatar is set to experience another weekend of hot weather, with temperatures expected to remain high during the daytime. According to the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), Friday will see temperatures in Doha reaching a maximum of 38°C, with a minimum of 31°C. On Saturday, temperatures will range between 32°C and 37°C throughout most parts of the country. The weather is expected to be hazy in the early morning before turning hot by late afternoon.

The wind conditions on Friday will be northwesterly to northeasterly at 5-15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 25 knots in some areas during the day. The sea wave height is predicted to be between 1 and 3 feet. On Saturday, the wind will predominantly blow northeasterly to northwesterly at 5-15 knots, with the sea wave height potentially reaching up to 3 feet. It is advisable to exercise caution when engaging in outdoor activities and to minimize exposure to the sun during peak hours.

The QMD’s data for September 5 reveals that Mukaynis, Karanah, and Jumayliyah recorded the highest temperatures of 42°C. The department warns against participating in strenuous outdoor activities and encourages individuals to stay hydrated and seek shade when necessary. It is essential to take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses in such extreme weather conditions.

With the scorching temperatures expected over the weekend, it is crucial for residents and visitors to Qatar to stay informed about weather updates and to take preventive measures to stay safe and healthy. Ensuring proper hydration, wearing sunscreen, and seeking shade when outdoors are essential practices during hot weather. Individuals should avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, especially during peak hours, to prevent heat exhaustion and heatstroke.

By following the QMD’s weather forecasts and recommendations, individuals can better prepare themselves for the challenging weather conditions in Qatar. It is important to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect oneself and others from the potential risks associated with high temperatures. With proper planning and awareness, everyone can enjoy a safe and comfortable weekend despite the hot weather.

As Qatar continues to experience hot weather conditions, the QMD’s guidance serves as a valuable resource for staying informed and taking appropriate actions to safeguard health and well-being. By following the department’s updates and advice, individuals can navigate the challenges of extreme temperatures and ensure a safe and enjoyable weekend in Qatar. Stay hydrated, stay informed, and stay safe during the upcoming hot weather in the country.
