Qatar Media Centre completes public speaking skills training course

The Qatar Media Centre recently concluded a three-day “Public Speaking Skills” training course aimed at enhancing participants’ ability to speak confidently and fluently in front of an audience. Led by trainer Mohammed Al Saadi, the course covered topics such as voice modulation, tonal variation, and the importance of mastering public speaking skills. Participants were encouraged to develop thorough subject knowledge, effective idea delivery, and to overcome nervousness or fear while maintaining harmony in vocal performance.

The training course targeted individuals between the ages of 14 to 22 years old, as part of the summer programme launched by the Qatar Media Centre in July. The programme aims to empower young individuals with essential skills in media and cybersecurity. It has witnessed significant participation from the intended age group, reflecting a growing interest in developing practical skills in public speaking and other media-related areas.

Following the success of the “Public Speaking Skills” training course, the Qatar Media Centre is set to continue its summer activities with a new course focused on mobile photography skills. Led by trainer Abdullah Sarour, this course will also run for three days and provide participants with valuable insights into the art of mobile photography. With a focus on hands-on learning and practical skills development, the course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and techniques needed to capture stunning photos using their mobile devices.
