The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the recent statements made by the National Security Minister of the Israeli occupation government, calling for the construction of a synagogue inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is viewed as an attempt to alter the historical and legal status of the mosque, as well as a deliberate provocation to Muslims worldwide. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar issued a statement on Monday denouncing these remarks and warning of the potential impact on the efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. It emphasized the need for the international community to take immediate action to deter such actions by the occupation forces and uphold their moral and legal responsibilities towards Jerusalem and its sacred sites.

Qatar reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. This includes their right to freely practice their religious beliefs without any restrictions, as well as their right to establish an independent state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The condemnation by Qatar reflects its stance on the issue and its commitment to defending the rights of Palestinians in the face of ongoing aggression and violations by the Israeli occupation forces.

The provocative statements made by the National Security Minister are seen as a blatant disregard for the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and a direct challenge to the religious and cultural heritage of Muslims. Qatar’s condemnation highlights the gravity of the situation and calls on the international community to intervene and prevent further escalation of tensions in the region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need for urgent action to address these provocative moves and to uphold the rights of Palestinians to access their holy sites without any interference or restrictions.

The State of Qatar’s firm stance on the issue underscores its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in their quest for justice and self-determination. The condemnation of the Israeli occupation government’s actions is a clear message that such provocations will not be tolerated and that the international community must take decisive action to hold the occupation forces accountable. Qatar’s call for urgent intervention by the international community reflects its dedication to ensuring peace and stability in the region, and its rejection of any attempts to undermine the rights of Palestinians to their land and religious sites.

In light of the recent provocations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Qatar’s condemnation of the Israeli occupation government’s actions sends a strong message to the international community about the need to address the ongoing violations and aggression against Palestinians. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement underscores the urgent need for the international community to take immediate action to prevent further escalation of tensions in the region and to uphold the rights of Palestinians to their religious and cultural heritage. Qatar’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause reaffirms its commitment to standing by the Palestinian people in their struggle for justice and self-determination, and its rejection of any attempts to alter the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites.
