Prime Minister attends Joint Ministerial Meeting between GCC Countries and US

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani recently participated in a joint ministerial meeting with the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in New York. This meeting aimed to discuss the cooperation relations between the GCC countries and the United States, as well as ways to support and enhance them. The attendees also touched upon the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as updates in joint mediation efforts to end the war in the area.

During the meeting, the attendees also discussed ways to de-escalate the situation in Lebanon and address a number of topics of common concern.
