Satisfaction is a top priority for Ooredoo’s operations in Oman, as stated by the Chief Executive Officer, Bassam Yousef Al Ibrahim. In an exclusive interview with Times of Oman, Al Ibrahim emphasized the importance of putting the needs of customers first. He mentioned that actively listening to customers and providing innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs sets Ooredoo apart from its competitors in the crowded telecommunications market in Oman.

Al Ibrahim highlighted the significance of building value-added solutions in the rapidly evolving telecommunications industry. He expressed the company’s commitment to staying ahead of competitors by continuously seeking ways to enhance customer experience. Despite facing competition from six other telecom companies in Oman, Ooredoo has managed to maintain its competitive edge by offering flexible and tailored products and services that cater to the diverse needs of consumers.

In addition to focusing on individual consumers, Ooredoo is also giving high priority to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Al Ibrahim acknowledged the importance of SMEs in driving the economy and emphasized the company’s dedication to providing unique, specific, and scalable services to support the growth and evolution of these businesses. By catering to the needs of SMEs, Ooredoo is contributing to the future growth and development of Oman as outlined in Vision 2040.

Looking ahead to the next five years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a significant role in Ooredoo’s operations. Al Ibrahim highlighted the importance of AI in revolutionizing communities and learning processes across various sectors. The company is collaborating with educational institutions to ensure that students are equipped with the necessary skills to tackle future technological challenges. By integrating AI into its operations, Ooredoo is positioning itself as a forward-thinking telecommunications provider that is ready to embrace technological advancements.

Ooredoo’s customer-centric approach, focus on innovation, and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of consumers have enabled it to maintain a competitive edge in Oman’s telecommunications market. By actively listening to customers, building value-added solutions, and embracing technologies like AI, Ooredoo is not only meeting current market demands but also preparing for the future. With a dedicated team and a focus on SMEs, Ooredoo is poised to continue delivering exceptional services that drive economic growth and development in Oman for years to come.
