New employee training program for Muscat Governorate to start on Sunday

The training programme ‘Leadership Skills Development for Second-Level Leaders’ is set to be launched for Muscat Governorate employees starting on Sunday. The programme will be conducted in two sessions, with the first session running from September 29 to October 3, and the second from October 6 to 10. Its main focus is on enhancing the essential skills of the participants, such as strategic planning, effective communication, and decision-making in order to improve productivity and achieve institutional targets efficiently. The aim is to establish positive leadership values and behaviors that contribute to administrative success, while also enabling participants to effectively deal with changes.

The programme covers a range of key topics including administrative leadership and institutional change, strategic and administrative planning, work organization and leadership rotation, effective communication skills, artificial intelligence, and decision-making methodologies. Through a combination of applied lectures and individual and group practical activities, the programme aims to develop new skills and enhance the knowledge of participants, preparing them to interact effectively with various situations. This initiative is in alignment with Oman Vision 2040, which emphasizes the importance of building leadership abilities among the youth to effectively face future challenges.
