Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently shared insight into the promotional tactics in the film industry during an interview with ANI. He acknowledged the necessity of telling lies while promoting films, as it is part of the overall marketing strategy. Siddiqui emphasized that while he stays true to his character on camera, the promotional side of filmmaking often requires exaggeration and hyperbole to make the film more appealing to audiences.

Despite the need for promotional tactics, Siddiqui also highlighted the unique opportunity that the camera provides to express genuine truths about his characters. He expressed a desire to speak the truth about the characters he portrays, something that may not always be possible in real life. Siddiqui recognized that once the camera is turned off, actors often have to navigate a world where truth is obscured by marketing strategies, leading to a stark contrast between their on-screen and off-screen personas.

The Sacred Games actor went on to discuss the impact of solitude on his creative process, revealing that he enjoys spending time alone as it allows him to generate ideas and delve into character development. Siddiqui finds solace in solitude, using it as a source of inspiration for his artistic endeavors. He also touched upon how life’s hardships can enrich an artist’s work, with personal pain often serving as a driving force behind creating impactful art.

Looking ahead, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is gearing up to star in an upcoming music video titled Saiyaan Ki Bandook. This project marks his second collaboration with Jaani, following the success of their previous music video Baarish Ki Jaaye. Saiyaan Ki Bandook is set to release on September 6, 2024, showcasing Siddiqui’s versatility as an artist and his ability to excel in various creative endeavors. The actor’s willingness to explore different mediums of expression further solidifies his reputation as a versatile and dedicated performer in the Indian entertainment industry.
