MP praises Bahrain as a symbol of peace and humanitarian endeavors

Dr. Maryam Al Dhaen, a Member of Parliament in Bahrain, recently highlighted the Kingdom’s exemplary role in peace and humanitarian work as the world observed World Humanitarian Day. She emphasized that Bahrain’s achievements, both locally and internationally, are deeply rooted in Arab culture, Islamic teachings, and humanitarian values. This is evident through the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who have made significant contributions to enhancing Bahrain’s reputation for coexistence and humanitarianism.

Al Dhaen also commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, for their work in advancing humanitarian and development initiatives. The establishment of the King Hamad Award for Peaceful Coexistence reflects the King’s commitment to promoting global peace and dialogue among civilizations. This award recognizes individuals and organizations making strides in fostering dialogue and coexistence, combating extremism, and preserving human rights.

Bahrain is a hub for civilizations and cultures, embracing various religions and allowing freedom of worship.
