The Ministry of Culture (MoC) recently took part in the Francophone Village events at the 19th Francophone Summit in France, focusing on “Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the French Language”. This initiative aimed to showcase Qatari culture through traditional clothing, dances, games, and more. The pavilion also featured virtual reality glasses to give visitors a glimpse into Qatari culture. Additionally, Qatari publications translated into French were on display, promoting Qatari literature and arts on an international platform.

The Ministry of Culture’s presence at the Francophone Village events was a strategic move to promote Qatari heritage and identity worldwide. By showcasing traditional clothing, dances, and arts, the Ministry aimed to enhance global awareness and appreciation of Qatari culture. Through initiatives like the pavilion at the Francophone Summit, Qatar seeks to strengthen its cultural ties with other nations and foster future collaborations and partnerships.

One of the highlights of the Ministry of Culture’s participation in the Francophone Village events was the theatrical performance of the “Nahham” art. This artistic display showcased the richness and diversity of Qatari culture, captivating audiences and generating interest in Qatar’s heritage. By incorporating traditional art forms into their presentation, the Ministry of Culture successfully engaged with visitors and highlighted the unique cultural offerings of Qatar.

The virtual reality glasses featured at the pavilion provided an interactive way for visitors to experience Qatari culture. By immersing themselves in virtual environments showcasing Qatari traditions, guests were able to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the country’s heritage. This innovative use of technology not only entertained visitors but also educated them about Qatar’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.

In addition to showcasing traditional art forms and clothing, the Ministry of Culture also displayed Qatari publications at the Francophone Village events. By translating Qatari works into French and making them accessible to a wider audience, the Ministry aimed to promote Qatari literature and art on a global scale. This initiative helped to raise awareness of Qatar’s rich literary tradition and cultural heritage among international visitors.

Overall, the Ministry of Culture’s participation in the Francophone Village events was a resounding success. Through their engaging pavilion, featuring traditional clothing, dances, art, and virtual reality experiences, they effectively promoted Qatari culture and heritage. By reaching out to a global audience and fostering cultural exchange and cooperation, Qatar continues to position itself as a vibrant hub of cultural diversity and creativity on the international stage.
