The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications in Bahrain recently released a list of 323 licensed individuals and companies offering student transport services in the country. The list consists of 259 individual drivers and 64 companies that operate multiple vehicles. This move is part of the ministry’s efforts to regulate the student transport sector and ensure the safety and rights of students. Parents are urged to choose licensed transporters to guarantee the safety of their children.

The General Directorate of Traffic had previously called for the verification of driver licenses issued by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications. It emphasized the importance of ensuring student safety and warned that legal action would be taken against unlicensed drivers. This highlights the government’s commitment to enforcing regulations in the student transport sector to prevent any potential risks to students.

The average cost of roundtrip student transport in Bahrain ranges from BD20 to BD40 per month, depending on the distance. For instance, transportation from Sitra to Isa Town costs between BD35 and BD40 monthly for a round trip, while a one-way trip is around BD25. The cost of transportation from Muharraq to the University of Bahrain in Sakhir is capped at BD40. These costs are set to ensure that students have access to safe and affordable transportation options.

Choosing licensed transporters for student transportation is crucial to ensure the safety and security of students in Bahrain. By opting for licensed individuals and companies, parents can have peace of mind knowing that their children are in good hands. The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications is taking steps to regulate the sector and provide reliable services to students, emphasizing the importance of following guidelines and regulations to maintain safety standards.

It is important for parents to be aware of the licensed transport options available in Bahrain and make informed decisions when choosing a service provider. By referring to the list of licensed individuals and companies provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, parents can easily identify safe and reliable transporters for their children. This proactive approach can help prevent any potential risks or issues related to student transportation in the country.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications in Bahrain is actively working to regulate the student transport sector and ensure the safety of students. By publishing a list of licensed individuals and companies providing student transport services, the ministry aims to promote transparency and accountability in the sector. Parents are encouraged to choose licensed transporters to protect the rights and safety of their children, and to avoid potential legal actions against unlicensed drivers. By following guidelines and regulations, students can access safe and reliable transportation services in Bahrain.
