Minister of State says goodbye to Sri Lankan diplomat

During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Qatar and Sri Lanka in various fields such as trade, investment, tourism, and culture. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern. The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of maintaining close ties between the two countries and expressed Qatar’s interest in further expanding bilateral relations with Sri Lanka.

H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi commended the Ambassador’s role in promoting friendship and cooperation between Qatar and Sri Lanka during his tenure. He also praised the efforts of the Sri Lankan community in Qatar in contributing to the development and prosperity of the country. The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s commitment to supporting the Sri Lankan community and strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two nations.

The Ambassador of Sri Lanka H E Mohammed Mafaz Mohideen expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality he received in Qatar during his tenure. He highlighted the strong and growing ties between Qatar and Sri Lanka and emphasized the potential for further cooperation in various fields. The Ambassador also thanked the Qatari government and people for their support and assistance to the Sri Lankan community in Qatar.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to working together to further deepen bilateral relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation. They agreed to continue regular consultations and exchanges to enhance understanding and collaboration between Qatar and Sri Lanka. The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of Sri Lanka reiterated their mutual desire to strengthen ties and promote shared interests for the benefit of both countries.

In conclusion, the meeting between H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi and H E Mohammed Mafaz Mohideen highlighted the strong and friendly relations between Qatar and Sri Lanka. The parties expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in various fields for the mutual benefit of both countries.
