KSrelief carries out successful voluntary orthopedic surgeries in Turkey.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently conducted volunteer medical programs in Gaziantep and Hatay provinces in Turkey from August 24 to 31. The program focused on adult and pediatric orthopedic surgery and involved 28 volunteers from various medical specialties. This initiative was part of the Saudi Volunteer Life program, aimed at supporting individuals affected by the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.

During the campaign, KSrelief’s medical volunteer team examined 536 individuals and performed 87 complex surgeries for both adults and children, all of which were successful. The team also distributed 30 wheelchairs to patients in need, as well as necessary medical supplies for ongoing patient care. These efforts are part of KSrelief’s ongoing volunteer medical projects, which seek to alleviate the suffering of those in need and those affected by crises around the world.
