Indian Club is Hosting a Badminton Tournament; Registration is Now Open

The Indian Club in Manama has announced that their open badminton tournament will be taking place from August 25th to the 31st at the club premises in Gudaibiya. The tournament will feature a variety of categories including Men’s Doubles, Veterans Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Jumbled Doubles for players over 80. Trophies will be awarded to all winners and runners-up in each category. Registration is now open to all players with a fee of BD4 per player. Interested participants can register before August 23rd by contacting the Club’s Badminton Secretary Arunachalam T. or the Tournament Director Binu Pappachen.

The tournament is open to players of all levels and ages, with categories for elite players as well as veterans aged 45+ and 55+. Women players also have the opportunity to participate in Level 1 & 2 doubles categories. Mixed doubles categories are available for both elite and premier players, as well as Level 1 & 2 players. The Jumbled Doubles category is a unique offering for players over 80, allowing both men and women to compete together. With a wide range of categories, the tournament aims to provide a competitive and inclusive experience for all participants.
