ICAI Bahrain Chapter to Hold Innovative Conference on Digital Transformation

The Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) is preparing to host a groundbreaking event centered around digital transformation. Scheduled for Thursday, September 26th at the Gulf Convention Centre, the conference will showcase Bahrain’s strides in digitalization, particularly within the financial sector. In collaboration with esteemed knowledge partners such as the Bahrain Internal Auditors Association (BIAA) and the Bahrain Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), BCICAI aims to explore Bahrain’s digital transformation journey and its impact on various industries.

The event will be inaugurated by H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Auditor-General of the National Audit Office in Bahrain, with guest of honour H.E. Vinod K. Jacob, the Ambassador of India to Bahrain. An esteemed panel of industry experts, including Fawaz Ghazal, CEO of FLOOS Bahrain, and Mahmood Jassim Shaker, Regional Director at Dell Technologies, will share their insights at the conference. CA Nishith Seth, Director of SSPL Middle East, will also lead a special session on key topics like Data Analytics, Open Banking, Cloud Banking, Sustainable Finance, and RegTech.

The Bahrain Chapter of ICAI, established in 1985, has grown into one of the largest professional bodies in the country, boasting over 450 members.
