HM the Sultan visits Medical City for Military and Security Services

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik recently paid a visit to the Medical City for Military and Security Services in Muscat, underscoring the importance of the healthcare sector in Oman. During his visit, His Majesty graciously sponsored the official opening of the Medical City Hospital for Military and Security Services in the capital city. The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Medical City for Military and Security Services.

At the opening ceremony, His Excellency the Engineer, Chairman of the Medical City, delivered a speech highlighting the advancements in the medical sector in Oman and recognizing the contributions of Omani doctors. A visual presentation showcased the evolution of medicine in the Sultanate, leading up to the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Medical City Hospital. His Majesty bestowed his blessings on the new facility, symbolizing another milestone in Oman’s national achievements and commitment to excellence in healthcare.

During the tour of the hospital, His Majesty was briefed on the specialized departments and cutting-edge medical services offered at the Medical City Hospital. The facility was designed and built to the highest technical standards, in alignment with the vision of the Medical City for the Military and Security Services and Oman Vision 2040. His Majesty’s visit underscored the government’s dedication to providing top-quality healthcare to its citizens and ensuring the well-being of the armed forces and security personnel.

Following the tour, His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Medical City staff and officials in bringing the hospital to fruition. He personally congratulated the Assistants to the Chairman, General Managers, and Engineers involved in the project, acknowledging their hard work and commitment to excellence. The visit concluded with His Majesty departing from the Medical City for Military and Security Services, leaving behind a legacy of support for the healthcare sector in Oman.
