After weeks of intense competition, Stars of Science has announced its top three finalists who are competing for the title of Top Arab Innovator. Nada Elkharashi, Haytham Yahyaoui, and Yaman Tayyar have all showcased their innovative projects in hopes of claiming the Grand Prize. The finalists will undergo a combination of public voting and jury deliberation to determine the winner and the runner-up.

Nada Elkharashi, from Egypt, has gained attention for her project ‘BioVolt’, which generates electricity from air humidity using bacterial nanowires. This sustainable energy solution has the potential to provide power to underserved communities. Tunisian contestant Haytham Yahyaoui has developed the Alzheimer’s Early Detection App, ‘NeuroVox’, which uses voice analysis and artificial intelligence to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease in its early stages. Syrian candidate Yaman Tayyar has created the ‘Geno’ microfluidic mixer, a device that produces lipid nanoparticles for gene therapy, making this treatment more accessible and affordable.

Throughout their journey on Stars of Science, the finalists have received mentorship and support from seasoned professionals in engineering, invention, and business. This guidance has helped them refine their concepts, develop prototypes, and polish their pitching skills. With the finale approaching, the top three contestants are excited to see their ideas transform into solutions that could have a real impact in the region and beyond.

Public voting for the finalists is now open on the Stars of Science website and will close on Friday, October 18. The season finale will air on Saturday, October 19, where the ultimate winner will be announced. With groundbreaking innovations and a strong support system behind them, Nada Elkharashi, Haytham Yahyaoui, and Yaman Tayyar are eager to see who will emerge as the Top Arab Innovator.
