Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, led a delegation to Saudi Arabia to participate in the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit. The summit was assigned by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and invited by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Upon arrival, Shaikh Khalid was warmly received by Saudi Arabian officials, including HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HH Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf. The delegation also included Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, along with other senior officials.

The purpose of the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit was to discuss important regional and international issues and to strengthen cooperation and unity among Arab and Islamic countries. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa’s presence at the summit underscored Bahrain’s commitment to working with other nations in the region to address challenges and promote peace and security. The summit provided a platform for leaders to exchange ideas, collaborate on solutions, and reaffirm their shared values and principles.

Bahrain’s participation in the summit showcased the strong diplomatic ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, as well as the shared commitment to advancing mutual interests and goals.
