Collaborative Opportunities between Oman and Zanzibar Explored

President of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, recently met with Khalid Hashel Al Muselhi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs of Oman. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss areas of bilateral cooperation between Oman and Zanzibar, particularly in economic, cultural, and heritage fields. Both parties expressed a strong desire to enhance their relationship in various sectors. The meeting was also attended by Hassan Khamis Hafidh, Deputy Health Minister of Zanzibar, to discuss cooperation in the health sector and ways to strengthen this collaboration.

The meeting highlighted the importance of fostering economic ties between Oman and Zanzibar, with a focus on areas such as trade, investment, and tourism. Oman and Zanzibar have historically shared strong cultural ties, with shared heritage and traditions. Both parties expressed eagerness to further develop cultural exchanges and preserve their shared heritage. Healthcare collaboration was also a key focus of the discussions between Oman and Zanzibar. The meeting was attended by officials from both Oman and Zanzibar, including Said Salim Al Sinawi, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Zanzibar. The presence of high-level officials from both sides underscored the importance of the discussions and highlighted the commitment of both parties to strengthening their relationship. The meeting provided a platform for open dialogue and collaboration, paving the way for future cooperation in various sectors between Oman and Zanzibar.
