Aspire Zone Foundation has announced a partnership with Sky Grace Academy for the second edition of the ‘Sky Grace 2024’ International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship. Scheduled for November 20 to 22, 2024, the championship will take place at the Aspire Dome in Qatar. The event promises to showcase impressive displays of rhythmic gymnastics that combine technical skill and aesthetic beauty.

The opening ceremony will feature a promotional display inspired by major sports films to highlight key moments of the championship. Held at the world’s largest multi-purpose indoor dome, the Aspire Dome, the championship will bring together athletes from around the world for a unique sporting experience. Nasser Abdulla Al Hajri, Chief Marketing Officer at Aspire, emphasized the significance of hosting such events in Qatar to promote artistic sports in the region.

The partnership with Sky Grace Academy demonstrates Aspire Zone Foundation’s commitment to developing local and regional sports and supporting athletes striving for excellence. The championship is expected to draw interest from sports fans in Qatar and the region, contributing to Doha’s reputation as a leading destination for international sports events. The championship is exclusively for women’s competitions, where participants will showcase rhythmic routines blending artistic beauty and physical grace to music.

With the success of the first edition in Beijing, China in December 2023, the second edition is anticipated to attract participants from 25 countries, including Qatar. Aspire Dome, with a seating capacity of up to 15,500, is an ideal venue for the championship. The dome has previously hosted prestigious international championships, such as the Hyrox Championship and the World Aquatics Championships, contributing to the success of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

In conclusion, the upcoming ‘Sky Grace 2024’ International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship promises to be a significant event in Qatar’s sports calendar, showcasing the beauty and skill of rhythmic gymnastics. The collaboration between Aspire Zone Foundation and Sky Grace Academy highlights the commitment to supporting diverse sports activities in the region. The championship will provide a unique experience for participants and fans, further establishing Doha as a leading destination for international sports events. It is set to attract athletes from various countries and promote artistic sports excellence in the region.
