Amir meets with First Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait

Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani welcomed HE Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, along with his delegation. The meeting took place at the Amiri Diwan as part of HE Al-Sabah’s visit to Qatar to participate in the opening of the 15th edition of Milipol Qatar 2024 exhibition and conference.

During the meeting, HE Al-Sabah conveyed the greetings of HH Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to HH the Amir of Qatar. He also extended his wishes for good health and happiness to HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the people of Qatar for further development and prosperity. In return, the Amir entrusted HE Al-Sabah with his greetings to the Amir of Kuwait and wished good health to him and the people of Kuwait for enduring progress and growth.

The discussions between HH the Amir and HE Al-Sabah focused on the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Qatar and Kuwait, as well as ways to strengthen these ties further. They also addressed prominent regional and global developments of mutual interest. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both countries to enhancing their cooperation and collaboration in various fields for the benefit of their respective populations.

The visit of HE Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to Qatar underscores the strong bilateral relationship between the two countries and signifies the importance of such high-level exchanges in promoting diplomatic ties and fostering mutual understanding. The Amir’s reception of HE Al-Sabah at the Amiri Diwan reflects the warm and friendly relations between Qatar and Kuwait, built on a foundation of solidarity, respect, and cooperation.
