Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) recently held an award ceremony to celebrate the achievements of participants in its ‘Lean Six Sigma’ and ‘Kaizen’ courses. A total of 105 individuals, including participants from external entities such as the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Nasser Vocational Training Centre (NVTC), took part in the courses. Alba’s CEO, Ali Al Baqali, awarded the participants in the presence of other high-level officials from various organisations.

Alba’s commitment to cost-competitiveness and operational efficiency was highlighted during the ceremony. CEO Ali Al Baqali emphasized the importance of Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies in achieving operational excellence. By enhancing employees’ capabilities in process optimization, Alba has been able to create a competitive advantage that has helped the company navigate challenging market conditions. After the award ceremony, the visiting dignitaries were given a special tour of the newly inaugurated Alba Data Command Centre. This central hub oversees the company’s operations and plays a crucial role in enhancing Alba’s overall operational efficiency and responsiveness. The dignitaries received a briefing on the Centre’s functions and how it contributes to Alba’s success in the industry.
