Alba is excited to announce Fahad Danish as their new Chief Human Resources Officer

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the world’s largest aluminium smelter on one site, recently appointed Fahad Mohamed Abdulla Danish as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective 27 October 2024. In this role, Fahad will oversee all aspects of talent management at Alba, including workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, compensation, and benefits. With over 15 years of experience in human resources, Fahad brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success from his previous senior leadership positions at companies such as Beyon, Bahrain International Circuit, KPMG, and Ernst & Young.

Alba’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Khalid Al Rumaihi, expressed his excitement about Fahad’s appointment, stating that Fahad’s extensive experience in talent management will be invaluable as the company continues to build a high-performance culture that drives growth and innovation. Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Ali Al Baqali, also shared his confidence in Fahad’s ability to attract, retain, and nurture top-tier talent to ensure Alba’s leadership in the aluminium industry.

Fahad Mohamed Abdulla Danish expressed his excitement about joining Alba and contributing to its success. With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology, Fahad is well-equipped to drive the strategic HR component of Alba’s corporate strategy. He aims to foster a dynamic and inclusive workplace while promoting innovation in talent management, utilizing his executive education from the University of Strathclyde and Harvard Business School.

Fahad Mohamed Abdulla Danish will be taking on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), effective 27 October 2024.
