King receives royal family, officials, and top students

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa recently hosted a gathering at Sakhir Palace that included senior members of the royal family, officials, citizens, and high-achieving students from various educational levels. The event was aimed at strengthening connections within the Bahraini community and upholding the country’s rich traditions rooted in Arab heritage. King Hamad congratulated the students on their academic success and praised Bahrain’s education system for producing intellectual talent that contributes to the nation’s cultural prosperity. He also highlighted the importance of education in promoting peace and combating extremism.

During the event, King Hamad expressed concern over conflicts in different countries and emphasized the need for leaders to prioritize the well-being of their people by providing essential services such as healthcare, education, housing, and employment. He called for respect for human and religious values to maintain regional stability and urged against escalation and incitement. The King concluded by praying for global peace and security and commended the unity and loyalty of the Bahraini people in safeguarding the nation’s stability.

In celebration of World Teachers’ Day, King Hamad extended his congratulations to teachers for their crucial role in education, value-building, and citizenship development. The Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, expressed gratitude on behalf of the educational community and acknowledged the King’s commitment to engaging with citizens from all sectors. He also highlighted the support provided by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in advancing educational initiatives aligning with the King’s vision for Bahrain’s excellence in various domains, particularly education.

Several students were honored at the event, including those with outstanding academic achievements in government schools, regional and international competitions, private schools, universities, and higher education institutions. King Hamad commended the efforts of the students, their parents, and educators, recognizing them as valuable assets to Bahrain’s educational system. Attendees expressed their pleasure with the gathering and praised the King for his continuous care for citizens and the country’s achievements during his 25-year reign.

Overall, the gathering at Sakhir Palace highlighted the importance of education in Bahrain and the King’s commitment to supporting and advancing the nation’s educational system. The event reflected the unity and loyalty of the Bahraini people, as well as the leadership’s efforts to promote peace, stability, and prosperity. By recognizing and honoring outstanding students, teachers, and educational stakeholders, the Kingdom reaffirmed its dedication to excellence in education and its role in shaping the future of Bahrain.
