Carnegie Mellon Qatar recognizes students for their academic achievements

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar recently held a ceremony to honor 144 students for their exceptional academic performance in the spring 2024 semester. The students included 26 first-years, 27 sophomores, 53 juniors, and 38 seniors. The university holds the Dean’s List ceremony twice a year to recognize the outstanding achievements of its undergraduates. The Dean of CMU-Q, Michael Trick, congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their academic pursuits.

First-year students who made it to the spring 2024 Dean’s List were recognized for their hard work and dedication. Some of the students honored included Kehinde Adeogun, Abdulrahman Al Taweel, and Maya Barghouti. Sophomores like Mayowa Abayomi, Aisha Al Attiyah, and Julia Nicole Castillo were also acknowledged for their academic accomplishments. The junior honorees included Abdelrahman Abdalla, Alanoud Al Thani, and Mohamad El Ghali, among others. Seniors who earned a spot on the Dean’s List included Zainab Ahmed, Mayar Al Kurdi, and Allyssa Bianca Magpantay.

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar offers undergraduate programs in various fields such as biological sciences, business administration, computer science, and information systems.
