Interior Minister Adjusts Fees for Nationality, Passport, and Residency Services

The Minister of Interior in Bahrain, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, recently issued Decree No. (86) of 2024, amending certain provisions of Decree No. (196) of 2014 regarding fees for services provided by the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports, and Residence. This decree, which has been published in the official gazette, replaces the text of Articles No. (12), (20), and (45), and adds a new Article No. (73) to the table attached to the original decree. The goal of these amendments is to clarify and update the fees associated with various services provided by the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports, and Residence.

The revised fees for these services are outlined in the tables attached to the decree. By issuing this decree, the Minister of Interior aims to ensure transparency and efficiency in the provision of services related to nationality, passports, and residence in Bahrain.
