The weekend in Doha, Qatar, is filled with exciting events to explore, including the S’hail Exhibition 2024 and the Geekend. The S’hail Exhibition, taking place at the Katara Cultural Village, will feature participants from 19 countries showcasing hunting, falconry, and camping essentials. The exhibit promises to attract enthusiasts from around the world and will run from September 10-14, 2024.

Another event to look forward to is the AIR 8 exhibition at the Doha Fire Station. Featuring the works of artists from the residency program, the exhibition aims to explore the concept of home in the present time. The exhibition will run until December 31, 2024, and tickets must be booked prior to the visit.

Geekend is also making a comeback at the Geekdom Building in Lusail Boulevard. The event will feature various activations including the Geekdom Market, games, eSports tournaments, and special events. Daily passes for entry are available for QR20, and interested attendees can get their tickets online.

For those looking for a musical experience, the Qatar National Library will be hosting Philharmonic at The Library Arabic Nights from North Africa featuring MAias Alyamani & MAqam ensemble on September 12, 2024. Additionally, an evening with R. Strauss: Death, Drama, and Discovery will take place on September 13, 2024, at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

Finally, on September 14, 2024, M7 Msheireb will host a workshop exploring the creative process of American artist Ellsworth Kelly and the impact of nature on his works. Open to participants aged between 8-12 years old, the workshop aims to inspire creativity and appreciation for nature through art. Interested participants can book their tickets online for QR100.
