As the world continues to evolve rapidly, so do people’s needs and desires. Al-Futtaim IKEA, committed to creating a better everyday life, has introduced its FY2025 collection, emphasizing the critical link between multifunctional homes and sleep quality. This year’s offerings build on previous years’ insights, focusing on how the home environment influences sleep and overall wellbeing. The study revealed that nearly 60 per cent of UAE respondents are not getting enough rest, leading to an average weekly sleep deficit of 8 hours. This shift marks a move from the emphasis on creating multifunctional living spaces seen in previous years to prioritizing home environments that support restful and restorative sleep.

Ikea’s Snooze Fest at Festival Plaza, Dubai is the ultimate celebration of sleep that combines luxury and comfort. The event offers a cozy and dreamy environment where every detail is designed to make participants feel like they’ve stepped into a sleep utopia. Attendees are invited to experience the sleep haven in their pajamas and enjoy a free cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee, making it a slumber party for grown-ups with style and comfort. Ikea’s Snooze Fest is not only about luxury sleep spaces but also a celebration of how crucial good sleep is for well-being, offering a new way to think about rest and relaxation.

The focus on personal well-being within the home has shifted significantly towards sleep, with comfort and air quality being essential factors for a good night’s rest. As the region’s leading home furnishing retailer, Al-Futtaim IKEA has unveiled six essential solutions for a good night’s sleep based on an in-depth study. These solutions include an air purifier to enhance air quality, a mattress for comfort and support, a speaker lamp for creating a relaxing environment, a night light for children, a wardrobe system for clutter-free spaces, and a duvet cover set for temperature regulation. These solutions demonstrate Al-Futtaim IKEA’s commitment to improving sleep quality across the region.

Vinod Jayan, managing director of Al-Futtaim IKEA, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and Oman, emphasized the brand’s dedication to helping customers create homes that support daily activities and contribute to better sleep and health. The brand continues to prioritize sleep quality, affordability, and sustainability to ensure that every home can be a sanctuary that supports health, happiness, and a sustainable future. Al-Futtaim IKEA remains committed to affordability by proactively lowering prices on over 30 per cent of its popular products while maintaining quality. The brand also focuses on expanding its reach with the opening of small-format stores in Fujairah and Abu Dhabi to make products and services more accessible to meet evolving needs.

Sustainability is a core commitment for IKEA, reflected in the sustainable features of its new stores in City Center Fujairah and Dalma Mall. These stores offer a significant percentage of sustainable products and are designed with eco-friendly features to promote sustainable living. By prioritizing affordability, sustainability, and accessibility, Al-Futtaim IKEA continues to evolve to meet the changing needs and desires of customers, ensuring that everyone can create a home that enhances functionality and sleep well-being.
