The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties recently took part in the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) 2024 Conference in Basel, Switzerland, where they showcased their achievements in health education, the Saudi Board Certificate, and professional examinations. The Commission shared their experiences and successes in health education with specialists and professionals from across the globe. At their pavilion, attendees learned about the Commission’s history, objectives, and contributions to enhancing professional health performance in various specialties. They also highlighted their support for over 700,000 registered health practitioners in the sector.

The Commission emphasized the modern teaching methods used in their postgraduate programs, including the Saudi Board Certificate, which creates exceptional educational environments for trainers based on the latest health education principles. Since its inception, the Saudi Board has had a significant impact, graduating over 30,000 health practitioners in 200 specialties, accrediting more than 2,100 training programs, and establishing over 110 training centers. Currently, around 19,900 trainees are enrolled in Saudi Board programs, further showcasing the Commission’s commitment to promoting excellence in health education.
