Mohammed Shahid Congratulates Jay Shah on Being Elected as the New ICC Independent Chair

Mohammed Shahid, Advisor to the President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and President of BRAVE Combat Federation and CEO of KHK Sports, has congratulated Jay Shah on his election as the new independent chair of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Jay Shah, who currently serves as the Honorary Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was elected unopposed and will officially assume his new role on December 1, 2024. Mohammed Shahid praised Jay Shah’s exceptional leadership and vision, expressing confidence that he will lead the ICC into a new era for the world of cricket.
