Nile Air plane catches fire during takeoff from Dammam airport

An Egyptian plane belonging to Nile Air caught fire in the wheel system during takeoff from King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The National Transport Safety Center confirmed the incident and stated that emergency teams quickly responded, extinguished the fire, and safely evacuated all 186 passengers and 8 crew members on board without any injuries. The Airbus A320 aircraft was en route to Cairo Airport when the fire occurred.
