A red alert has been issued for fog with a drop in horizontal visibility, which may reduce even further at times. The alert is active from 7.33am to 9am today, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). In addition, a yellow alert has also been issued, from 7.30am to 9am, for fog and visibility reduction. It is important for motorists and commuters to exercise caution during this time to ensure safety on the roads.

The weather forecast for today indicates that it will be fair and partly cloudy at times. Clouds are expected to appear towards the east and south by the afternoon. It is advisable for residents to stay updated with the latest news and weather updates. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) continues to monitor the weather conditions and issue alerts as necessary. It is essential to follow safety guidelines and precautions during such weather conditions to avoid any potential risks.

According to NCM’s earlier forecast, the humidity is expected to increase by night and Tuesday morning, with a chance of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate winds are expected to blow, freshening at times causing blowing dust during the daytime. The sea conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. The humidity levels can reach up to 90 per cent in internal regions, coastal areas, and islands.

The temperatures for the day are expected to range between 32°C and 42°C in Abu Dhabi, and between 31 and 38°C in Dubai. It is essential for residents and visitors to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak daytime hours. It is also recommended to wear light and breathable clothing to ensure comfort in the hot and humid weather conditions. Following these simple tips can help individuals to stay safe and healthy during the summer months in the UAE.

As the weather conditions can change rapidly, it is crucial to stay informed and prepared for any potential changes. By following the latest news updates and weather forecasts, individuals can plan their activities accordingly and take necessary precautions. It is always better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to dealing with extreme weather conditions such as fog and reduced visibility. By being vigilant and proactive, residents can ensure their safety and well-being during challenging weather situations.

In conclusion, the recent weather alerts and forecasts highlight the importance of staying informed and taking necessary precautions during adverse weather conditions. Residents and commuters are advised to follow safety guidelines and adhere to any alerts issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). By staying aware of the latest developments and being prepared, individuals can avoid potential risks and ensure their safety during challenging weather situations. It is essential to prioritize safety and take proactive measures to protect oneself and others during foggy and low visibility conditions.
