The UAE has launched a national relief campaign called “UAE with you, Lebanon” to provide support to the Lebanese people amidst the ongoing field escalation. Under the guidance of President Sheikh Mohamed, the UAE has pledged $100 million in urgent humanitarian aid to Lebanon and has collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO) to send 40 tonnes of medical supplies via an aircraft that departed from Dubai. This marks the beginning of the relief campaign, with more assistance expected to follow.

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati expressed his gratitude to President Sheikh Mohamed for the generous donation of $100 million in relief aid to Lebanon. In response, President Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE’s commitment to supporting the Lebanese people and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in achieving a ceasefire and ensuring the security of civilians in accordance with International Law. The UAE stands in solidarity with Lebanon and is dedicated to promoting unity and sovereignty in the region.

The swift response to the crisis in Lebanon showcases the UAE’s willingness to provide aid during challenging times. The collaboration with the WHO and the delivery of urgent medical supplies reflect the UAE’s proactive approach to addressing immediate needs and responding to emergencies effectively.

As the relief campaign unfolds, the UAE remains focused on delivering aid to Lebanon and assisting the Lebanese people in overcoming the current challenges they are facing. The President’s directive to offer financial assistance and humanitarian aid reflects the UAE’s values of generosity and compassion towards those in distress. The ongoing support for Lebanon is a testament to the enduring bond between the two nations and the UAE’s commitment to fostering stability and peace in the region.

As the relief campaign progresses, the UAE’s continued support for Lebanon will play a crucial role in alleviating the suffering of those affected by the ongoing crisis.
