Turkish Embassy commemorates Victory Day

The Turkish Embassy in Qatar recently celebrated Victory Day and Turkish Armed Forces Day, marking the 102nd anniversary of a significant victory in the Turkish War of Independence led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The event, under the patronage of Turkish Ambassador to Qatar, H E Dr. M. Mustafa Göksu, was attended by high-ranking Turkish and Qatari military officers, ambassadors, and members of the diplomatic corps. Major General Abdullah Ali Al Mazrouei and other distinguished figures were present at the ceremony, highlighting the strong bonds between Turkey and Qatar.

In his speech, Ambassador Göksu expressed pride and gratitude for celebrating this historical occasion, emphasizing the importance of the Victory of August 30 and Turkish Armed Forces Day.
