The General Assembly of Umm Salal Club in Doha, Qatar elected HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani as President and HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Thani as Vice President for the 2024-2025 term. The meeting, attended by founding members, active members, and representatives from the Ministry of Sports and Youth, reached the legal quorum. Muhammad Salem Al Nuaimi was appointed as the club’s executive director.

HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani emphasized the club’s commitment to enhancing its performance and meeting the aspirations of fans and staff. He praised the progress made under French coach Patrice Carteron and expressed confidence in achieving high ranks in the upcoming Ooredoo Stars League season. The signing of professional players is expected to strengthen the team and improve its competitiveness.
