Saudi Interior Minister Arrives in Doha

The Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, recently visited Doha, Qatar on an official visit. He was warmly welcomed by HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), upon his arrival at Doha International Airport’s Amiri Terminal. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and discuss important security issues.

During the visit, senior officials from the Ministry of Interior and Lekhwiya were also present to discuss cooperation on security matters. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Doha, HH Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Farhan Al-Saud, and the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Riyadh, Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, were also in attendance to demonstrate the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations.

The visit highlights the close relationship between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, particularly in the areas of security and law enforcement. Both countries have a shared interest in maintaining regional stability and combating threats to national security. The visit also serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences on security issues, ultimately leading to enhanced cooperation and collaboration in the future.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud’s visit to Doha signifies the importance of maintaining strong ties with Qatar and working together to address mutual security concerns. The meeting between the two Ministers of Interior provides an opportunity to discuss ways to enhance security cooperation, share best practices, and coordinate efforts to counter emerging threats in the region.
