Saudi Foreign Minister to Head Delegation at UN General Assembly Session

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah is leading Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York City. The delegation includes Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman AlFadley, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim, and other high-ranking officials.

During the UNGA 79 session, Prince Faisal bin Farhan and the Saudi delegation will participate in official meetings to enhance multilateral international cooperation and discuss developments on regional and international fronts. The meetings will focus on establishing global security and peace, as well as joint efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. The delegation will also hold bilateral meetings with representatives of brotherly and friendly countries, as well as officials from various international organizations participating in this year’s session.

The Kingdom’s delegation to the UNGA 79 session aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role on the global stage and promote its commitment to international cooperation and diplomacy.
