Saar Garden, a new recreational area in Saar, Bahrain, has recently opened its doors to the public, providing local children with a dedicated place to play. Situated in Block 525, the 3,372-square-metre park has been eagerly awaited by the community, aiming to meet the growing demand for green spaces. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, Eng Wael Al Mubarak, along with other officials and representatives from civil society.

In his remarks, Minister Al Mubarak highlighted the Ministry’s efforts to increase green areas and enhance public parks. He emphasized the high standards of the newly opened park, which includes features like a smart irrigation system and security cameras for safety. The park also boasts 123 newly planted trees as part of the National Afforestation Plan, covering an area of 800 square metres.

Dr. Sayed Shubbar Al Wadaei, Chairman of the Northern Municipal Council, praised the collaborative effort that led to the creation of Saar Garden, describing it as a model project for the community, especially for the residents of Saar. He commended the Ministry’s support in realizing the council’s proposals and expressed his appreciation for the development of such a valuable recreational space.

Municipal Council Member Tariq Al Farsani also extended his gratitude to the Ministry for its role in improving infrastructure and municipal services in the area. He noted that projects like Saar Garden contribute to enhancing the quality of life for residents and underscore the Ministry’s commitment to creating more green spaces and enhancing recreational facilities across Bahrain.

The opening of Saar Garden marks another milestone in the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs’ ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and provide residents with access to well-maintained and attractive public spaces. The park is expected to become a popular destination for families and children, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for leisure activities and social gatherings.

Overall, the inauguration of Saar Garden represents a significant step towards fulfilling the community’s need for more green spaces and recreational amenities. With its modern features, lush greenery, and commitment to sustainability, the park is poised to become a cherished asset for the residents of Saar and a symbol of progress in Bahrain’s urban development initiatives. As the Ministry continues to focus on creating vibrant and eco-friendly spaces, Saar Garden sets a positive example for future projects aimed at enhancing the wellbeing and livability of local communities.
