Bahrain recently participated in the second gathering of leaders from GCC government communication centers in Al-Ula, organized by the Saudi Government Communication Center. The event witnessed the participation of heads of communication centers from various GCC nations, emphasizing the need for enhanced media and communication cooperation among member countries. Minister Al-Dosari highlighted the importance of this meeting as a step towards positive media transformations in the region.

Mr. Ahmed Khaled Al Araifi, CEO of the National Communication Center, represented Bahrain at the event and emphasized the country’s commitment to strengthening partnerships among GCC government communication centers. He highlighted Bahrain’s dedication to launching collaborative projects and initiatives, as well as exchanging expertise in government communication. During the meeting, Mr. Al Araifi shared Bahrain’s successful strategies in developing communication for major international events, such as the 33rd Arab Summit hosted by Bahrain last May.

The discussions at the gathering focused on translating collective goals into actionable programs to support media initiatives and highlighted the importance of collaborative training and knowledge exchange to strengthen joint efforts in government communication. Participants expressed optimism for the future of media collaboration in the region, paving the way for a more unified and effective approach to government communication.
