The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar has introduced new electronic document attestation services through its website. These services allow for the electronic attestation of police clearance certificates from the Ministry of Interior and educational certificates from government schools that have been authenticated by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This new system eliminates the need for individuals to visit the Attestation Section at the Department of Consular Affairs building or government service centers, as the process can now be done online through the Ministry’s website.

The Director of the Department of Consular Affairs, HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Subaie, emphasized that these new services enable beneficiaries to electronically attest their documents immediately and at any time of the day without any hassle. By logging in using the National Authentication System on the Ministry’s website, individuals can apply for the service in just one minute and receive an electronically attested document promptly. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s efforts to streamline and improve the document attestation process for the public.

In addition to the electronic attestation services, the Ministry’s website also offers various other services that allow beneficiaries to attest documents. The delivery and receipt of documents will be facilitated through partnerships with Qatar Post and the Government Contact Center (109), ensuring a smooth and efficient process for individuals. The Ministry is committed to providing support for electronic services 24/7 in nine different languages to cater to the needs of a diverse range of users.

The Director of Information Technology Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Naemi, stated that more electronic services will be rolled out on the website in the near future. This move is part of the Ministry’s broader goal of digitizing and simplifying services for beneficiaries. By expanding the range of online services available, the Ministry aims to enhance accessibility and convenience for individuals seeking document attestation and other consular services.

Overall, the introduction of electronic document attestation services by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar marks a significant step towards modernizing and digitizing administrative processes. By leveraging technology, the Ministry is able to offer a more efficient and user-friendly experience for individuals requiring document attestation services. This initiative is aligned with the broader digital transformation efforts in Qatar and reflects the government’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to enhance public service delivery. With the availability of these services on the Ministry’s website, individuals can now save time and effort by completing the document attestation process conveniently online, without the need for physical visits to government offices.
