Honourable Lady visits Jawharat Muscat School in Seeb

Her Highness the Honourable Lady, the Spouse of His Majesty the Sultan, recently visited the Jawharat Muscat Basic Education School for Girls in the Wilayat of Seeb to celebrate Omani Women’s Day. During her visit, she was welcomed by the Minister of Education and an Adviser to the Minister of Education, who provided her with a briefing on the school’s educational achievements and cultural importance. Her Highness then took a tour of the school’s departments and participated in an educational exhibition showcasing students’ research and artistic works. She also observed visual presentations on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital programs.

In addition to touring the school, Her Highness attended a class and visited the science lab, where she had the opportunity to meet with female educators, teachers, and students from various schools in Muscat Governorate. During this meeting, she listened to the participants’ initiatives and achievements in the field of education, academic development, cognitive skills, and community cultural consciousness. At the conclusion of her visit, Her Highness signed the school’s Visitors Book, leaving a mark of her highly anticipated visit.

This visit was particularly pertinent as it coincided with celebrations for Omani Women’s Day, showcasing the importance of women in education and their contributions to society. Her Highness’s interest in the school’s programs and activities aimed at enhancing students’ cognitive standards highlights the importance of education in empowering young girls and preparing them for future success. By personally engaging with students and educators, Her Highness demonstrated her commitment to supporting educational initiatives and promoting academic development in the region.
