His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, recently attended a military music show at the Royal Opera House Muscat in celebration of Oman’s 54th National Day. This 3-day concert featured Omani military bands alongside international bands, showcasing precision parade performances and a variety of musical instruments such as bagpipes, drums, and wind instruments. The event highlighted Oman’s strong ties with other countries, with musicians from Jordan and Austria participating and showcasing traditional military performances unique to their respective cultures. The performance also included displays of artistic skills, beautiful formations, and heritage segments, captivating the audience in attendance.

The musical bands participating in the event included the Royal Guard of Oman, the Royal Army of Oman, the Royal Air Force of Oman, the Royal Navy of Oman, the Royal Oman Police, the Royal Cavalry, the Royal Camel Corps, the Scout Band, and the Infantry Team of the Royal Army of Oman. Through their performances, these bands displayed their talent and dedication to honoring Oman’s National Day through music and dance.
