Exhibitors praise extensive international participation at Milipol Qatar

Milipol Qatar 2024 has been praised by both local and foreign exhibitors for its vibrancy and the wide participation from the region and beyond. The 15th edition of the exhibition, held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, provided a successful platform for stakeholders to showcase their offerings and connect with potential partners. Participants highlighted the cost-effectiveness of the event, which allowed them to present their technologies in a small space and attract valuable attention.

One such participant, Traffic Tech Qatar, a Qatari company established in 2000, specializes in services and system integration. The Group CEO, Abdel Rahman Al Khateeb, emphasized the company’s role in installing CCTV cameras and intelligent transportation systems in Qatar, particularly in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2022. Al Khateeb also noted the significance of Milipol Qatar in attracting their main clients, such as the Ministry of Interior, and expanding their operations to other countries like Saudi Arabia.

Another prominent exhibitor at Milipol Qatar was ICT technology giant Huawei, showcasing its advanced tech solutions and focus on industrial intelligence and homeland security. The Chief Security Officer, Sultan Mahmood Malik, highlighted Huawei’s successful global presence, serving over three billion users with a strong cybersecurity record. Huawei’s solutions, implemented in more than 170 countries, have gained the trust of numerous carriers and enterprise networks, making Milipol Qatar a valuable platform to demonstrate their offerings and strengthen partnerships in the security sector.

French firm Incitius, specialized in software publishing for PDF and CAD formats, also participated in Milipol Qatar for the first time. Their Business Development Manager, Yves Mittelmann, was impressed by the level of visitor turnout and the industrial advancements in Qatar. Emirates Safety Laboratory, a fire testing and product certification facility based in Dubai, joined the event for the first time to promote fire safety awareness and reduce incidents through public education. General Manager David Campbell stressed the importance of keeping fire safety at the forefront to save lives and prevent disasters.

In conclusion, Milipol Qatar 2024 has been hailed as a successful platform for homeland security and safety stakeholders to showcase their technologies, connect with partners, and expand their networks. The event’s diverse participation from both local and global exhibitors highlights its significance in the security sector. With the positive feedback from participants like Traffic Tech Qatar, Huawei, Incitius, and Emirates Safety Laboratory, Milipol Qatar continues to be a valuable exhibition for promoting advancements in security technologies and collaborations in the region and beyond.
